Parking

All guests will park on the street. Parking is plenty and free. You may park on the grass along the roads on either side. You may initially come up the driveway to drop off people, equipments, and wardrobe, but you must take the vehicle down for parking.

All guests will be asked to enter the house through the kitchen door. When you come up to the drive way, go towards your left.
 


Showcase Table

A showcase table with 5100k full-spectrum lighting will be available for you to display your work and/or have them critiqued. Guests are encourage to bring their portfolios and leave them on the table upon arrival. Please remember to clearly mark on the portfolios your name or studio name. Attaching several business cards in a pocket inside the portfolio is a very good idea to let others know who's work it's from.
 

Market Table

A separate Market Table will be available by the main entrance. The Market Table is where you place your business cards, comp cards, or other marketing material for other guests to take home.
 


Food Accommodations

Main courses and basic beverages will be provided by the host.

Guests are encouraged to bring snack food and beverages of their choice. 16-oz bottled soda and packaged snacks like chips and cookies are preferred. Beer drinkers: Please only bring enough for yourself, as we often have too much leftover. We could always use more bottles of wine.


Alcoholic Beverage Policy

Alcoholic beverage will be available for consumption inside the house and on the patio only. You must be of legal age to consume alcohol. The host reserves the right to ask for proof of age. You will be detained, by force if necessary, if you are deemed to be unsuitable to operate a motor vehicle.


 


Studio Amenities

Primary Shooting Station

The primary shooting station is a public, free-for-all area that will feature a full size 'fashion gray' seamless backdrop on hardwood floor. It will have the following lighting equipments:

- 1 WL X1600 (660ws)
- 2 AB B400 (160ws)
- 47" octbox
- 30"x60" softbox
- barn doors w/ 10˚ grid
 

Secondary Shooting Station

The secondary shooting station is also a public shooting area. It will have various fabric backdrops in a smaller space more suitable for headshots or half body shots. The following will be provided:

- 2 SV monolights (300ws)
- 2 36"x36" softboxes
 

Station 3

A third shooting station will be set up in the garage. It will be a technical lighting station with no natural lights. It is the dedicated area for mature themed photography. A fee will be charged for the use of this area. It is available in blocks of 50 minutes. Each block is $25.

These special rules will apply to shooting station 3:

  • No spectators. Shooters and posers only. If you're not part of the shoot, you are not allowed to be in there.
  • Holler before you enter the area.
  • You have 10 minutes to vacate the station while the next group is setting up. An official clock will be present. Please respect other people's time.
     

Outdoor Shooting

Outdoor shooting is open to all guests. Please stay within the property and do not wander off to the neighbors' yards. Please observe common sense for safety. Mature content is not allowed outdoors. Depending on the weather, a sealed off area may be set up to allow limited mature contents.

 


Equipment / Wardrobe Policy

Photographers are encouraged to bring and share photographic equipments such as lenses and other attachments. The host will not be responsible for missing or damaged equipments at the event. You should write down the serial numbers of your lenses and equipments prior to the event. You may e-mail the host a list of serials prior to arriving the event in case of misplaced equipments or ownership disputes.

Everyone is encouraged to bring multiple outfits/wardrobes. You may place your wardrobe in the change room if you intent to share with others. If you choose to do so, please mark your items. The host will not be responsible for missing or damaged wardrobe.
 


Overnight Accommodations

Overnight accommodations will be available for people who have traveled a long distance or people who plan to become intoxicated. I will have 3 crash zones and can accommodate up to 12 people. I can put up to 3 people in beds and the rest will have to settle for my very soft carpet. A zone will be assigned to you based on how early you sleep and how drunk you become. Guests are encouraged to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows.

There are also several motels and hotels in the area staring at $30 a night. Please inquire via e-mail if you need help finding a hotel.
